The MS27511F24A is an MS27511F series protective cap for mil-spec circular connectors with a size 24 shell, providing environmental and mechanical protection for the connector mating face and contact faces when the connector is unmated during storage, transport, or service. The size 24 cap is the largest in the MS27511F series, sized for the maximum-circuit-count shell used in full-vehicle main harness bulkhead connectors and primary ECU interfaces.

Why Protective Caps Are Essential for Mil-Spec Connectors

Mil-spec circular connectors such as the MS3470, MS3474, and MS3476 series achieve their environmental sealing rating only in the mated condition.
