Techflex Flexo F6 1 1/2″ Black Split Braid Sleeving — Motorsport Expandable Harness Protection

The F6N150BK is Techflex Flexo F6 expandable split braid sleeving in 1 1/2″ nominal diameter black, supplied as cut length. F6 Flexo is a lightweight polyester split braid sleeving widely used in motorsport harness construction for harness finishing, wire bundle protection, and abrasion resistance. The split braid construction allows installation over fully-terminated harnesses without removing connector ends. Suited to motorsport harness bundle sleeving.

Techflex Flexo F6 — Lightweight Motorsport Harness Sleeving

The F6 Flexo series uses a braided polyester construction that is lighter and more flexible than the heavier F6 Woven (F6W) product. This makes it easier to route through tight chassis passages and over complex harness bends, at the cost of some abrasion resistance compared to the denser woven construction. For sensor sub-harnesses, ECU signal loom sections, and harness runs in protected chassis areas, the F6 Flexo provides the correct balance of protection and flexibility. For primary harness trunks routed through abrasion-risk areas, the heavier F6 Woven may be more appropriate.

Split Braid — Over-Harness Application

The longitudinal split allows the sleeve to be opened and wrapped around an existing harness from outside, making it compatible with fully-terminated harnesses. At each sleeved section end, secure the sleeve with heat shrink tubing or a cable tie to prevent unravelling during vehicle service and maintenance.
