TXL 18 GA Orange is a cross-linked polyethylene (XLPE) insulated primary wire manufactured to SAE J1128 TXL specification. Available in 18 AWG (0.75 mm²) cross-section, this wire delivers the high-temperature resistance, flexibility, and abrasion durability required for professional motorsport wiring harnesses, race car builds, and high-performance automotive applications.

TXL Wire Specification and Performance

TXL insulation is rated for continuous operation at up to 125°C, making it significantly more heat-tolerant than standard GPT or GXL wire. The thin-wall XLPE jacket provides excellent resistance to engine bay fluids including fuel, oil, and coolant, while maintaining flexibility at low temperatures – an important characteristic for builds operated in Nordic winter conditions.
