Holley EFI ECU 34-Way Keyway 2 Connector Kit — Motorsport ECU Harness Connector

The 68126 is a 34-way Holley EFI ECU connector kit, Keyway 2, for motorsport engine management harness fabrication and repair on Holley Terminator X, Terminator X Max, Sniper EFI, HP EFI, and Dominator EFI ECU platforms. Keyway 2 is the primary input/output connector — typically carrying ECU sensor inputs, signal grounds, and low-current output signals on the Holley ECU family. Suitable for the standard signal-wire gauge range used in ECU harnesses, this kit provides all components needed to fabricate or replace the ECU-side harness connector with a professional, correctly-specified crimp assembly.

Holley ECU Connector System — Keyway Identification

Holley EFI ECUs use a multi-connector harness interface, with each connector position identified by a numbered keyway that prevents incorrect connector mating. Keyway 2 is the ECU zone connector responsible for the sensor signal and ECU I/O circuits, including inputs from sensors such as MAP, TPS, coolant temperature, air temperature, and knock, as well as low-current outputs for PWM control signals and sensor reference voltages. Understanding the keyway assignment before beginning harness fabrication is essential to ensure each connector is wired correctly — an ECU connector inserted in the wrong keyway position will not mate mechanically, preventing incorrect wiring rather than allowing a potentially damaging misconnection.

34-Way Circuit Count — Keyway 2 Applications

The 34-way format provides the circuit count needed to accommodate all circuits assigned to Keyway 2 on the Holley ECU. Holley ECUs are popular in Scandinavian club motorsport, drag racing, oval, and performance road car applications due to their comprehensive feature set, self-tuning capability, and compatibility with a wide range of engine platforms including GM LS, Ford, Chrysler, and custom motorsport engine builds.

Contact Specification

This variant uses solid (non-split) contacts, which provide a lower-resistance crimp joint and superior mechanical retention compared to stamped contacts — the preferred specification for primary ECU harness connections.

ECU Harness Fabrication Best Practice

When fabricating a Holley ECU harness, use the correct wire gauge for each circuit type: 20–22 AWG is appropriate for sensor signal, ground reference, and low-current output circuits; 18 AWG for ignition and injector power feeds; and 16 AWG for ECU main power and ground circuits where voltage drop across the ground path must be minimised. Shielded cable (M27500 series) should be used for noise-sensitive signal circuits routed near ignition wiring or high-current feeds.

Available from Arctic Performance Parts

Arctic Performance Parts stocks Holley ECU connector kits across all keyway positions and contact variants, supporting motorsport harness builders and engine management workshops across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. Lead time is 1–2 weeks for quantities beyond current stock. We can advise on the complete connector kit set required for a full Holley ECU harness build.
