The 3126-CT is an open barrel crimp tool for fine-gauge contacts from 30 to 16 AWG, including D-subminiature contacts. With separate cavities for conductor and insulation crimps, it’s a precise tool for motorsport ECU, sensor, and data wiring built across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.

Separate Conductor and Insulation Crimps

This tool crimps the conductor and insulation portions of a contact in separate cavities, so the tool is closed twice to complete the termination. “Oval” insulation crimps are produced in two cavities (B: 20-16 AWG, D: 30-22 AWG), and “B” type conductor crimps in three cavities (A: 18-16 AWG, C: 22-20 AWG, E: 30-24 AWG), giving precise control over fine-gauge terminations.

Designed for Precision Wiring

A built-in locator and wire stop help position each contact consistently, which is critical when crimping delicate D-sub and small open-barrel contacts used in engine-management and data harnesses. The result is repeatable crimps on the smallest wires in a motorsport loom.
