Shrinkable Fabric — The Professional Harness Finish
Standard expandable braided sleeving is pulled onto a harness and held at each end. Shrinkable fabric tubing is instead slid over the harness in its expanded state and then heated to shrink tightly around the bundle — producing a firm, close-fitting textile sleeve that does not shift, sag, or need taping at entry points. HFT5000 Material and Performance

Select the HFT5000 size that, in its expanded state, can be slid over the harness bundle or hose assembly OD, and that, in its recovered state, produces a tight-fitting sleeve around the bundle. The 12mm expanded diameter accommodates bundles up to approximately 12mm OD for installation, shrinking to a firm fit at approximately 6mm recovered. This mid-range size covers the majority of motorsport sub-harness branches and medium-density loom sections.
