Deutsch DT06-08SA-E008 – 8-Way Plug Connector with XCAP End Cap
The DT06-08SA-E008 is a Deutsch DT Series 8-way grey plug housing with an XCAP environmental protective cap fitted at the wire entry end. The XCAP provides additional cable bundle entry protection, sealing the rear cable entry zone against moisture and contaminants during transport, storage, and in-harness use before final boot or tape wrap is applied.
XCAP Entry Protection
The factory-fitted XCAP end cap provides a defined weather seal at the cable entry of the 8-way plug housing. This is particularly valuable for connectors installed in exposed locations where the harness entry zone is not covered by a shrink boot or harness tape overwrap. The XCAP maintains the environmental performance of the connector assembly in the wire entry zone.
