The DGN2.00BK is a Dragon Sleeve in 2″ (approximately 50.8 mm internal diameter) black, a high-temperature resistant sleeving product combining a fibreglass braid structure with an aluminium foil coating for radiant heat reflection in extreme motorsport engine bay environments. Dragon Sleeve is suited to the largest motorsport harness assemblies requiring maximum-diameter thermal protection.

Dragon Sleeve — Construction and Performance

Dragon Sleeve uses a woven fibreglass braid as its structural foundation, providing continuous high-temperature resistance up to 260°C and above, combined with an aluminium foil coating that reflects infrared radiation away from the wiring inside. This dual-mechanism protection — conduction resistance from the fibreglass structure and radiation reflection from the aluminium coating — makes Dragon Sleeve one of the most effective heat protection products available for motorsport harness applications near exhaust manifolds, turbocharger housing, and catalytic converters. The black outer finish provides UV resistance and a professional aesthetic.

Dragon Sleeve vs FireFlex Sleeve

Both Dragon Sleeve and FireFlex (FIN series) use silicone fibreglass braid construction with similar thermal ratings.
