The ASX series retains the gold-plated contacts, aluminium alloy shell, and push-pull locking of the standard AS series in a smaller, lighter body. The ASX602 — miniature plug shell (free cable-mounted half of the ASX connector pair). At 5 circuits, suited to 5-circuit sensor cluster and actuator bundle separable joins. Typical applications: 5-wire sensor clusters, combined power/ground/signal interfaces, 5-channel switch pack sub-connectors, and mixed signal and power actuator bundles.
Orange Key (C) — Mis-Mate Protection
Orange C is the third key position — assigned when three parallel 5-circuit plug bundles share a separation point. With Yellow A and Blue B on the first two bundles, Orange C prevents the third from cross-mating to either. Used in complex loom builds by professional harness builders across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Plug Half — Free Cable-Mounted Connector
The removable, cable-mounted half disconnected and reconnected at the harness separation point. It mates with a fixed socket or flange-mount body, with the push-pull locking collar creating a positive, vibration-resistant connection.
