Deutsch Autosport ASX — 3-Way Plug Socket (Female), Yellow Key (A)
The Deutsch Autosport ASX 3-Way Plug Socket (Female) — Yellow Key (A) — SKU: ASX602-03SA-HE is a genuine MIL-spec-grade miniature circular connector for compact, weight-sensitive motorsport sub-harness separable joins in professional race cars, rally, and high-performance builds across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This is the socket half of the mated pair — Pin (Male) must be ordered separately.
Shell and Circuit Count — ASX602, 3-Way
The ASX series retains the gold-plated contacts, aluminium alloy shell, and push-pull locking of the standard AS series in a smaller, lighter body. The ASX602 — miniature plug shell (free cable-mounted half of the ASX connector pair). At 3 circuits, suited to 3-circuit sensor, actuator, and switch sub-harness separable joins. Typical applications: 3-wire sensor assemblies (MAP, TPS, CLT, IAT), individual coil-on-plug sub-connectors, 3-wire actuator feeds, and small auxiliary circuit groupings.
Yellow Key (A) — Mis-Mate Protection
Yellow A is the first key assignment in the Deutsch Autosport system — allocated to the primary 3-circuit plug bundle at a separation point. Where only one pair exists at the split, Yellow A is the standard choice. It ensures consistent harness identification across multiple race car builds in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Plug Half — Free Cable-Mounted Connector
The removable, cable-mounted half disconnected and reconnected at the harness separation point. It mates with a fixed socket or flange-mount body, with the push-pull locking collar creating a positive, vibration-resistant connection. Supplied by Arctic Performance Parts to harness builders and race teams across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
