The ASX series retains the gold-plated contacts, aluminium alloy shell, and push-pull locking of the standard AS series in a smaller, lighter body. The ASX602 — miniature plug shell (free cable-mounted half of the ASX connector pair). At 3 circuits, suited to 3-circuit sensor, actuator, and switch sub-harness separable joins. Blue Key (B) — Mis-Mate Protection
Blue B is the second key position, used when two parallel 3-circuit plug bundles share the same separation point. It prevents cross-mating between the primary (Yellow A) and secondary bundle. Mis-mate protection is mechanical and holds regardless of time pressure. Standard two-key pairing with Yellow A across race builds in Norway, Sweden, and Denmark.
Plug Half — Free Cable-Mounted Connector
The removable, cable-mounted half disconnected and reconnected at the harness separation point. It mates with a fixed socket or flange-mount body, with the push-pull locking collar creating a positive, vibration-resistant connection.
