Deutsch Autosport ASL (Low-Profile) Series — 5-Way Inline Pin (Male)

The Deutsch Autosport ASL 5-Way Inline Pin (Male) — Red Key (N) — SKU: ASL106-05PN-HE is a genuine MIL-spec-grade cable-mounted connector for 5-circuit sensor cluster and actuator bundle separable joins in professional race cars, rally, hillclimb, and high-performance builds across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark. This is the pin half of the mated pair — Socket (Female) must be ordered separately to complete the join.

Shell and Circuit Count — ASL106, 5-Way

The ASL series is a reduced axial-depth circular connector designed for installations where radial clearance behind a panel, bulkhead, or within a tight harness bundle prevents use of a standard-depth AS shell. It delivers the same gold-plated contacts, aluminium alloy shell, and push-pull locking in a shallower body. The ASL106 is the ASL106 — low-profile inline shell for depth-constrained cable-mounted harness joins. At 5 circuits, this connector is suited to 5-circuit sensor cluster and actuator bundle separable joins. Common applications include 5-wire sensor clusters, combined power/ground/signal interfaces, 5-channel switch pack sub-connectors, and mixed signal and power actuator bundles.

Red Key (N) — Mis-Mate Protection

Red N is the non-keyed (neutral) variant — it mates with any counterpart of the same circuit count and shell size, regardless of key colour. This makes it the correct choice for service tools, test jumpers, PDI connectors, and any interface where mating flexibility is preferred over strict mis-mate protection. Red N does not enforce a directional pairing between two specific connector halves. It is used by race teams and wiring specialists across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark wherever flexible connection points are required.

Inline Configuration — In-Harness Separable Join

The inline connector places both halves within the harness run — neither is fixed to a panel or bulkhead. Both halves are cable-mounted and the mated join floats within the loom, held by harness sleeve or tie-wrap points. This is the standard format for engine-to-chassis harness splits, removable subframe sub-harness joins, and any separable interface along the wire run. Inline connectors are used by motorsport wiring specialists across Norway, Sweden, and Denmark wherever a fixed panel location is not required.
