Raychem ATUM 4:1 1/2″ Adhesive-Lined Heat Shrink — 8 × 6-Inch Pre-Cut Pieces

The 6IN-ATUM-12/3 is Raychem ATUM 4:1 adhesive-lined cross-linked polyolefin heat shrink tubing in 1/2″ expanded inner diameter (approximately 12.0 mm mm expanded, recovering to approximately 3.0 mm mm), supplied as 8 × 6-inch pre-cut pieces. ATUM 4:1 is suited to medium wire bundles, mid-size connector backshell entries, and splice protection where a 4:1 shrink ratio is needed to accommodate a large diameter change.

Raychem ATUM 4:1 — High Shrink Ratio Adhesive-Lined Construction

Raychem ATUM uses a cross-linked polyolefin outer wall with an inner hot-melt adhesive lining. The 4:1 shrink ratio provides the greatest diameter accommodation of any standard heat shrink product — a tube installed over a large connector shell shrinks down to seal firmly against the much smaller cable bundle exiting from the connector, a diameter change no standard 2:1 product can accommodate. The adhesive inner lining melts and flows into gaps during shrinking, creating a watertight seal on uneven surfaces.

1/2″ Diameter — Application

The 1/2″ ATUM suits medium wire bundles, mid-size connector backshell entries, and splice protection where a 4:1 shrink ratio is needed to accommodate a large diameter change.
