69-11 Factory Mazda Oil O-Ring Insert Kit — Universal Rotary Engine Rebuild Component
The ARE105 is the factory Mazda oil O-ring insert kit for rotary engines from 1969 through to the end of RX-8 production in 2011. The O-ring inserts seal the internal oil passages in the rotor housings and end plates, preventing internal oil leakage between engine sections that would cause loss of oil pressure to the apex seal channels, side seal grooves, and eccentric shaft bearings.
Replace at Every Rebuild
Aged O-ring inserts that have hardened or deteriorated over time will not seal the oil passages correctly in a freshly rebuilt engine. Always install new O-ring inserts during a complete rotary rebuild — reusing aged seals in a rebuilt engine is a common cause of post-rebuild oil pressure faults and internal oil leaks that require disassembly to rectify.
